- TikTok has 3 billion total downloads—they’re the only app to accomplish this outside Facebook-owned apps.
- TikTok has over one billion monthly active users.
- TikTok overtook Instagram last year for Gen Z engagement.
- TikTok saw a rise in engagement (across generations) in 2021 whereas Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all saw decreases.
- TikTok is the most engaging social app in terms of time spent – outranking runner-up Pinterest by 100%.
